Bran-Jharokha: Sanskriti ke Rangon Ka, An International Art Workshop

Seven former and nine current students from the Department of Painting, RKMV, Shimla were selected to participate in Bran-Jharokha: Sanskriti keRangon Ka, an International Art Workshop held at Brani Kutumb, Manali. The workshop was organized by the Mahsu Art Society Shimla and conducted from 13 to 19 January 2026.
The workshop brought together not only the emerging artists but also cultural experts, historians, and scholars from different parts of India, Nepal, and Russia. During the workshop, the students gained exposure to diverse perspectives on art, culture, tradition, spirituality, and contemporary art practices.
As part of the workshop activity, the students also visited Jogini Falls, Mall Road, Manali, and the International Roerich Memorial Trust, Naggar. These visits contributed to a deeper understanding of the region's cultural, historical, and artistic context and complemented the overall learning experience of the workshop.
