Workshop on Communication Skills & Grooming
Bachelor of Vocation Department organised a workshop on Communication Skills and Grooming Standards with Ms. Shinam Azad, Entrepreneur, Makeup Artist, and UMB Ms. India 2024 1st Runner-Up on 3rd March 2026.
The session emphasised the importance of effective professional communication, personal grooming, and image management, particularly in the hospitality and retail sectors. Ms. Azad also conducted a hands-on demonstration of makeup techniques, providing practical insights into personal presentation for customer-facing roles.
Around 80 students from B.Voc. Retail Management and Hospitality & Tourism, along with faculty members, attended the workshop and actively engaged in the interactive session.
