Old Students Association
Old students association is an association of graduates or, more broadly, of former students. This association often organize social events, publish newsletters or magazines, and raise funds for the organization. Many provide a variety of benefits and services that help alumni maintain connections to their educational institution and fellow graduates.
One of the main purposes of OSA is to support a network of former Students who will, in turn, help to raise the profile of the college. Just like most other college student organizations, old student associations aim to bring together like-minded individuals.
The old student’s community shares their experience in the outside world, which they face after stepping out of the institution.
OSA network connects the old students with a numbers of professional contacts and other graduates from the college.

Activities
Formation of Association:
In 2007 a collective initiative of forming an association with the help of all the passed out students of RKMV was taken. In the same year the association came into existence
Old RKMVians
Having been a part of R.K.M.V. in their formative years, the old students of the college have a sense of belongingness to the institution and fervently cherish a desire to contribute constructively for the growth of their alma mater. To cater to the feelings of these students, the college has formed an alumnae association, the membership of which can be obtained by paying a nominal membership fee. The association holdsa get together/re-union inthe month ofOctoberwhich provides valuable advice to the college authorities regarding academic and co-curricular activities and other pressing issues.The executive body comprises of the following members:

VETERAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (VSA)
RKMV has recently taken an initiative to reunite Veteran Alumnae who were on rolls when RKMV was known as RPCSDB(Raja Padam Chand SanatanDharmBhargavaMahavidyalaya) . With great effort approximately 45 veterans have been brought together on a common platform and the college hopes to coordinate with them to restore their past experiences as well as to strengthen the already existing RKMV Old Students’ Association.

Reunion:
In 2013 a reunion function was organised by the association in order to refresh all the memories again and to stay connected with all the fellow students from past.

Fete - 2014
In the year 2014 a fete was organised by the students and staff of the college. All the RKMvians were involved in it.
Painting Exhibition:
In the year 2019, a painting exhibition was sponsored by the OSA in Gaiety theatre Shimla in which Ms. Jamuna, an old RKMVian exhibited her paintings and was greatly benefited by the efforts of OSA. This shows that the association has contributed immensely for the welfare of the old students and played a major role in social aspect of life.
