Various Central and State Sponsored Scholarship schemes are offered to students of the college on National Scholarship Portal on the basis of their eligibility criteria to various schemes. The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is an online portal by the Government of India for applying, processing, verifying and sanction of Government scholarships to students.

The eligible students are directed to fill the online Scholarship Application Form and submit these forms complete in all respects within the specified dates (Web portals for online Scholarships are HP e- Pass and National Scholarship Portal (NSP)). Members of the scholarship committee, after screening the forms, help students in the online submission of forms.
For the Session 2024-25 Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya has introduced three new scholarship schemes to empower and support talented and needy students from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education and achieve their academic and career aspirations. ‘Smt Nidhi Lakhanpal Jyoti Memorial Scholarships’ have been started in memory of Smt Nidhi Jyoti who was an ex- student of RKMV (1991-1993) by her husband Sh. Anil Jyoti and her daughters. These are 11 Merit-cum-Means Undergraduate Scholarships for the students of the college.
Smt Nidhi Jyoti was a student of Music and Economics. Her stint at RKMV marked her journey as a student to becoming an Economics Professor. She was a passionate sitar player, and above all, an advocate for women’s rights and their education and always propagated women to be independent and explore their full potential.
This scholarship is a wonderful way to honour her legacy by supporting deserving students who align with her values and aspirations.
Merit-Based college scholarship will be awarded to students of Second and Final Year based on their academic achievements of First and Second Year. These scholarships will recognize and reward students for their hard work and dedication to their studies.
Need-based scholarships have been designed by Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya in the current session 2024-25. These scholarships aim to alleviate the financial burden of purchasing syllabus books, which can be a significant expense for students. By providing access to necessary educational resources, these scholarships aim to bridge the financial gap, enabling talented students who lack the necessary financial resources to access higher education.
Learn and Earn Internship programme will be introduced in the Session 2024-25 to provide financial assistance to students who exhibit academic excellence, leadership potential, extracurricular activities, volunteer work and a commitment to community service. These internships typically offer students the opportunity to work part-time while pursuing their studies. Learn and Earn internships provide students with a source of income to help cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other educational costs. They shall be offered in each subject and in clubs and societies subject to their selection to the internship program.
