Holi Celebrations : 13th March 2025
The colourful festival of Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya on 13th March 2025, marking the first-ever event of its kind in the college. The celebrations witnessed the presence of the Principal, Dr. Anurita Saxena, along with the dedicated staff members and students of the college, who actively participated in the festivities.
The event commenced with a cultural extravaganza, featuring enthralling dance performances and soulful music that blended with the spirit of the festival, creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy and colours.
The cultural program was followed by the symbolic Holika Dahan, a ritual representing the victory of good over evil, adding a deeper cultural significance to the celebrations.
In keeping with the tradition of Holi, the celebrations also included playing with Gulal and flowers. The use of eco-friendly colors was emphasized, ensuring a safe and environmentally conscious approach to the celebration.
The event not only provided an opportunity to celebrate the festival but also helped in nurturing the values of togetherness and cultural appreciation within the RKMV community.
