IQAC and Women Cell organised a lecture on Skin Health and Grooming under the Multiverse Lecture Series. Dr Shikha Sharma, the Resource Person, educated the staff and students about skin related issues across different age groups. Her expertise and clear explanations encouraged all to nurture the inner health first which would naturally result in a healthy skin and hair.

Dr Shikha warned and discouraged against the use of hyped ‘over the counter’ products which are detrimental to the general health and skin. She raised concerns over the Korean Glass Skin regimen which leaves not only a big dent in the pocket but also its long-term efficacy is not established.

The principal, Dr Anurita Saxena while endorsing the need for grooming and skin care also stressed on the judicious use of skin and hair products. The need is to take care of your health through proper intake of fruits, vegetables and exercise instead of popping pills to maintain one’s appearances.
