Project-Based Learning Activity for M.Com Students On 13th and 14th April 2025.
The Department of Commerce at RKMV Shimla organized a Project-Based Learning (PBL) activity for postgraduate students (M.Com) on 13th and 14th April 2025. The activity was conducted in Room No. 12 and aimed to enhance experiential learning through research-oriented and collaborative student engagement.
As part of the initiative, students were divided into five groups, each assigned a theme relevant to contemporary issues in commerce and management. The students worked together to research, compile data, and prepare insightful presentations, which they showcased before faculty and peers over the two-day event. The presentations reflected a high level of academic inquiry, teamwork, and communication skills. Faculty members appreciated the students' efforts and provided valuable feedback on content, delivery, and originality.
The PBL approach encouraged students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world contexts, thereby fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The activity was well-received by students, who expressed that such interactive methods significantly contribute to their academic and professional growth.
This initiative highlights the department's commitment to adopting innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies aligned with NEP 2020 guidelines
