IQAC, RKMV Shimla successfully organized a week-long Faculty Development Program on ‘Rule Book to Real World: Practical Insights for HP Government Employees’. The FDP saw the participation of 70 teaching and non-teaching staff members from RKMV and neighbouring colleges.

The sessions covered important topics like Conduct Rules, FR & SR, Leave Rules, Financial Rules, RTI Act 2005, and Pay Fixation. Esteemed resource persons—Sh. Gian Chand Rayta, Sh. Bharat Bhushan, Sh. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Sh. Gopal Sanghaik, and Sh. Naresh Kumar—provided valuable insights linking service rules to real workplace situations.

Post-lunch sessions were interactive, focusing on discussion, doubt resolution, library consultation, and practical exercises like calculating pension, gratuity, and pay fixation.

In her address, Principal Dr. Anurita Saxena emphasized the importance of understanding service rules for empowered service and smooth governance.
