Financial Awareness Campaign 3rd Nov 2025
The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of RKMV, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Regional Office, Shimla, organised a Financial Awareness Campaign in the college on 3rd November 2025. The programme aimed to promote financial literacy among students and enable them to make informed financial decisions.
Dr. Anurita Saxena, Principal of the college, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She said that such sessions empower young minds to make informed financial decisions, protect themselves and be responsible citizens. She further appreciated the efforts of RBI for strengthening students' future and their contribution towards making India's economy healthy.
The RBI officials conducted informative and interactive sessions with the students: Mr. Rahul Joshi delivered a session on Financial Literacy, Ms. Sheenam spoke about the RBI Internship Programme and Mr. Yash explained the Grievance Redressal Mechanism in Banks.
The campaign proved highly beneficial as students gained valuable insights into responsible financial behaviour, career opportunities in RBI, and customer rights in the banking sector.
