RKMV, hosted a one-day International Workshop on "Innovate, Inspire, Impact: The Power of Project-Based Learning" as part of RKMV-PSU Partnership on 7 November 2025, it was organized in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University (PSU), USA. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Prof. Mahavir Singh was the Chief Guest and HPU’s DSW Sh. V. K. Shivram and HPU Dean Planning Sh. Joginder Singh Diman were the Guest of Honours. The event featured PSU representatives Dr. Vasu Singh, Dr. Anna Marshall and Dr. Tina Q. Richardson, who were also the Guest Speakers in the workshop.



Principal Dr. Anurita Saxena highlighted the significance of international partnerships and shared the progress achieved under the PSU; RKMV MoU. In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahavir Singh emphasised the value of collaborative learning and invited RKMV to engage in joint research and training with HPU in the areas of green energy, disaster management and cyber security.


Students of RKMV shared their experiences with project-based learning, illustrating how experiential education nurtures deeper understanding, confidence, analytical thinking and creative problem-solving. PSU delegates spoke about the journey, achievements and future possibilities of the PSU;RKMV collaboration, describing it as an important step toward innovation and global academic engagement.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Dr. K. S. M. Chauhan, expressing gratitude to all guests and participants. The event marked a meaningful stride toward strengthening educational innovation, global cooperation and experiential learning at RKMV Shimla.
