The Department of Political Science is offering BA with Political Science under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The degree programme offered by the department of Political Science consists of Discipline Specific Core and Elective Courses, Skill Enhancement Courses and Generic Elective Courses. Apart from this department also provide opportunities to the students to apply their theoretical knowledge to contemporary politics by involving them in seminars, workshops, field trips and conferences. The department also have a functional subject society namely “Political Science Society” with subject teacher as its president and a student from Final Year as its vice-president.

Studying political science grounds students in the importance of political participation and prepares them to take part in the political life of their communities and the nation.
We have an active Department where faculty and students engage on a regular basis. Our faculty members are experts in their fields and are enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge with their students.
The Political Science faculty strives to provide an enriching educational environment that speaks to the diverse needs of each student. Our students develop strong relationships with their advisors discussing course selection, career goals, and extracurricular activities.
