The Eco Club of Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya (RKMV), Shimla, organized an Eco Club Induction Programme to introduce students to the objectives, activities, and functioning of the club. The programme aimed to sensitize students towards environmental conservation and encourage their active participation in sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives. Approximately 120 students participated in the programme.

The role played by the Eco Club in promoting environmental consciousness, biodiversity conservation, waste management, water conservation, reduction of plastic use, plantation activities, and sustainable living practices

the activities undertaken by the Eco Club such as awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, plantation programmes, workshops, nature walks, bird-watching activities, study of local flora and community-based environmental initiatives.
