Observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas 27th July 2026
The NCC Unit of Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya (RKMV), observed Kargil Vijay Diwas to commemorate India's victory in the Kargil War of 1999 and to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.
To honour their courage and inspire the younger generation with the values of patriotism, discipline, and selfless service, the college , organized the celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 27 July 2026.
The Chief Guest, Wg Cdr Shivanee Chauhan, along with the ANO, NCC staff, and NCC cadets lit the ceremonial lamp in memory of the brave soldiers who achieved martyrdom in service of the nation.
The programme also included the Rank Ceremony, during which NCC cadets were honoured with their ranks in recognition of their commitment, discipline, and leadership qualities.
Addressing the gathering, Wg Cdr Shivanee Chauhan motivated the students to remain disciplined, courageous, and dedicated towards the nation. She shared valuable insights from her journey and encouraged the youth to contribute positively to society and the country
