Career Guidance Session 27th - 28th July 2026
The Career Counselling and Placement Cell, RKMV, Shimla, organised a two-day career guidance session on 27th and 28th July 2026 in collaboration with Creative Academy, Shimla, to apprise students of various competitive examinations such as IAS, HPAS, Banking, Allied Services, NET/SLET, and other career opportunities.
Students from different streams and academic years participated in the sessions and were provided with detailed information about these competitive examinations, their eligibility criteria, and career prospects.
The sessions primarily focused on effective preparation strategies, the importance of maintaining focus and consistency, techniques to stay motivated, and the mindset required to succeed in competitive examinations.
At the end of each session, the participants were given a General Knowledge questionnaire to assess their awareness and aptitude. Based on the evaluation of their performance, scholarships will be offered to eligible students who wished to enrol in courses at Creative Academy, Shimla.
